 ProKlean is an Australian owned company that believes each and every small effort to rid our world of poisons makes for a better future for our children.
It all began in 1980 when owner and founder Elizabeth Davis was standing in the cleaning product aisle of her local supermarket. She was simply overwhelmed by the number and different types of cleaning products available.
Elizabeth noticed that very few products were Australian made, many had confusing instructions on their labels and scoop sizes were not clear. With many years experience in the commercial cleaning industry, working with clients from domestic households to multinational corporations, Elizabeth found the level of choice and conflicting instructions hard to understand. She figured that the average consumer must have no hope of comprehending this information.
Recognising a business opportunity, and by using the professional cleaning skills acquired over the years, Elizabeth formulated a system of cleaning procedures and a methodology to clean the home and commercial premises. Together, with the use of environmentally friendly, concentrated products, ProKlean began.
